Our Work

Guided by the compelling need to define and structure the core principles and values of freedom, justice and responsibility, and instil a new regime of responsiveness that is sensitive to the fundamental obligation and burdens of personal and social responsibility, defined within the framework of the ethics of journalism, especially the definition and defence of human rights, accountability and responsibility, both within the journalistic practice and the wider society; our work is focused at improving professionalism in media practice in Nigeria through subjecting the prevailing standard of practice to varied systemic scrutiny, and, by expanding the opportunities for reporters and editors to enrich their expertise in an environment marked by serious constraints to resources and opportunities. We do these variously through:

Focused Media Audits

Capacity Development Initiatives

Provision of Resource aid to Practitioners
